You are never forced to share your Personal Data with us. The only consequences of your refusal to share Personal Data will be a potential a slowdown in the service and/or the inability to use certain parts of the Website or have access to certain products and services (for example the Download Center on our Website if you are entitled to have it one)
In the scope of the preparation or the execution of purchases, contracts, orders or claims we collect Personal Data when necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
We also record Personal Data when they are necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject. FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE COLLECT & PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Management of our sale, purchase and partner contractual relationship
We are collecting and processing the Personal Data from our customers, suppliers and partners to enable us to correctly handle the agreement you entered in with us. This way we can, for example, send you an invoice or deliver products at the correct address.
Depending on the individual cases, this Personal Data is processed on the basis of your request to take steps prior to entering into a contract and DELTATEC’ legitimate interests to address appropriately such steps for direct marketing/commercial purposes or on the basis of the performance of a contract.
Support services
We are collecting and processing the Personal Data from our customers when they interact with DELTATEC support professionals within the framework of the support services to enable us to diagnose and resolve problems.
Depending on the individual cases, this Personal Data is processed on the basis of the performance of a contract or on basis of DELTATEC’ legitimate interests in improving its support services.
Marketing communication
We are collecting and processing your Personal Data within the framework of our marketing communication to, not-exhaustively, invite you to tradeshows, training events, customer panels, to inform you about press releases, newsletters, webinars. This enable us to send you more relevant and useful information, keep you informed of our activities and send you appropriate offers based on your use of our services and your needs.
Job opportunities
We are collecting and processing your Personal Data when you are a job candidate in order to contact you for job opportunities.
This Personal Data is processed on the basis of your request to take steps prior to entering into a contract and DELTATEC’ legitimate interests to address appropriately such steps or your unambiguous consent, directly or through our recruitment service providers.
Legal and regulatory obligations
We are collecting and processing your Personal Data in order to comply with legal obligations to which DELTATEC is subject.
This Personal Data is processed on the basis of DELTATEC’ legal obligations and DELTATEC’ legitimate interest in complying with regulatory provisions or the performance of legal obligations.
Security
We are collecting and processing the Personal Data of the visitors of our premises on the basis of DELTATEC’ legitimate interests in ensuring the security of its premises.

DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Affiliates
Generally, we do not share your Personal Data with anyone other than DELTATEC’ affiliates. These DELTATEC’ affiliates shall not use your Personal Data for the other purposes than those described above. Within DELTATEC or those affiliates, your Personal Data is only available to the appropriate members of staff who need to have access to them in relation to their function and for a specific purpose.
Service providers
We can share your Personal Data, based on our legitimate interest, to third party Processors who helps us with our products and services. Examples include hosting our web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing customer services. When a subcontractor or a service provider has access to your Personal Data it must be itself compliant with the GDPR.

Generally DELTATEC does not transfer your Personal Data to third countries located outside the European Economic Area.
Exceptionally, we may use service provider located outside the European Economic Area. This may be the case for some cloud based services. When a subcontractor or a service provider located outside the European Economic Area has potentially access to your Personal Data, it must be itself compliant with the GDPR.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
In compliance with the GDPR, DELTATEC will only retain your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the stated purpose, taking into account also our need to answer queries or resolve problems, provide improved and new services, and comply with legal requirements under applicable laws.
This means that we may retain your Personal Data for a reasonable period after your last interaction with us. When legal delay exist, we conform to it.
When your Personal Data is no longer required in this way, we may anonymize or destroy it. The retention delay is fixed individually for each type of Personal Data according the previous philosophy.
PROTECTION OF YOUR DATA
DELTATEC has taken reasonable measures to ensure that your Personal Data is protected from unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use through technical and organizational measures including:
- limiting access to our buildings to those that are authorized to be there (by use of passes, visitor’s registration and other related technologies);
- limiting the physical access to the IT infrastructure;
- implementing access controls to our information technology, such as firewalls, ID verification and logical segmentation and/or physical separation of our systems and information;
- storing your data in secure operating environments and only accessible to DELTATEC employees, agents and contractors on a need-to-know basis. DELTATEC also follows generally accepted industry standards in this respect.

ACCESS TO, UPDATE AND CORRECTION OF YOUR DATA
